Carte de visite depicting Charlotte "Lottie" Angeline Sayre (1843-1907) of Moravia and Marcellus, New York. Her father, James Sayre, was a woolen manufacturer and Lottie might be dressed as a Vivandière. Lottie married Harvey Burr (1842-1904) after the Civil War. Harvey was a cigar maker, grocer, and liquor distributor. The couple then moved to Gloversville, New York, where Lottie became president of the WCA.
