Carte de visite depicting Captain Thomas S. Bradley (1825-1863), 9th Co., 1st New York Sharpshooters holding a Hardee hat. Bradley was pastor of the Congregational Church in New Lebanon, New York. He enlisted and formed a company consisting mostly of his church congregation. Bradley died in Philadelphia from a fever he contracted in Suffolk, Virginia.
