In this work I wanted to emphasize the boldness and strength of trees along the lakeside by painting them against a yellow sky. The scene glows, as the sunlight cuts through the trees and highlights branches. We can bask in the warmth of the dappled sunlight under these strong sentinels standing guard where land and water meet.
