There was severe famine in Niger Republic in 2005. This situation inspired Empty Bags Awaiting the work also takes root from a passage in the bible Proverbs 16:11 (Gideons International Version)

“A just weights and balance are the Lord’s: all the weights of the bag are his work”.

This statement encourages man to await the Lord to fill our bags. This work was performed in anticipation of this promise.
