Marbles, the queen of her neighbourhood, roams freely from house to house, making friends and collecting tributes, but always returning to her own home and family.
It was a pleasure to paint her on her sun-drenched throne (one of many, I'm sure) for my lovely friend and Marbles' "owner," Betsy. This portrait was a surprise Christmas gift from Betsy's daughters, and I loved being in on the secret!
