Apollo, Getting His Hair, Nails, and Brows Done, 2024, is inspired by an engraving by Jean Edelinck called Apollo Tended by the Nymphs of Thetis, Statuary Group in the Grotto of Thetis at Versailles, 1678, and is part of the Philadelphia Museum of Art collection, and a sculpture by François Girardon and Thom Regnaudin titled, Apollo Served by the Nymphs, 1666-75, and housed at the Palace of Versailles.
