Sometimes you have to let go of something to move forward in life. But letting go isn't always easy or simple, and it may be a struggle to release it. This abstract is inspired by the confusion of dealing with this internal battle to change. Mixed media 12" x 12" x 1.5" wood panel featuring an abstract expression using wax effect techniques (no wax was used). Includes acrylic, paper, ink, watercolor pencil, acrylic mediums. Edges were left as natural wood. No frame is needed. This piece arrives ready to hang.
