The Many (Speaking Out Against Human Trafficking) by Amanda Craig Image: Original mixed media canvas, 2022. Canvas is 20" x 20" x 1.5", unframed gallery edge. All edges are painted so no frame is required. "The Many" is a piece that represents the many victims of human trafficking. The smudged and varying skin tones and featureless face provide a simple visual to illustrate that human trafficking knows no barriers and there are victims in every skin color and culture group across the planet. The collage above the head represents a crown, such as that on Lady Liberty, and represents the freedom these victims seek.
