Still Standing by Amanda Craig Image: Original mixed media on 1.5" deep gallery wrapped canvas. Semi-abstract landscape in acrylic, watercolor, ink and plaster. Image of lone loblolly pine still standing after the 2011 Bastrop, Texas fires, with a iron ore (hematite) exposed hill, in Tahitian Village, Bastrop, TX. The Bastrop County Complex Fire in September and October 2011 was the costliest and most destructive wildfire in Texas history at that time; two people were killed, 12 injured, and over 1600 homes were destroyed.
Due to plaster and soft elements, this piece cannot be varnished.
