This piece was painted with a handful of others like it after an early fishing excursion with my husband. The sunrise was breathtaking and unique that morning, with bright teal and orange-pink peeking through dense clouds and rolly sagebrush hillsides. The sun came out later that day and allowed me to quickly under-paint and pastel over several pieces of watercolor. I had fun laying them out amongst the sage bushes to ketch the sun.
