Inlaid Scagliola. Often when I was painting at someone's house I would take a moment to gaze out the window or sit outside for lunch. I most commonly saw a mountain blue jay. I think people who can afford a regular painter tend to lean towards buying property in higher elevations where the mountain blue jay lives. This piece feels like smooth polished stone image goes around the sides sits on a hand made French cleat, polished and waxed .
