This piece is, in fact, an enigma to me. It is darker than my typical work, and contains marks and colors that are a mystery to me. I have tried several times to recapture the enigmatic mood and techniques of this piece to no avail. I believe it was created by channeling some other creative energy, some subconscious part of me that only comes out to play when it is least expected. Its title, "Uncertainty is a Virtue," expresses the surrender to that subconscious creative force in me, inviting it to return whenever it is willing.
