This image was inspired by the IVF process and the early multiplication of cells that occurs just after fertilization. The orb-like forms reference the fruit of my upbringing on a cranberry farm, incorporating photographic transfers of fruit from my family’s harvest. This agricultural fertility becomes a metaphor for the fertility of the female body, linking growth, labor, and origin.
