Message
You and I: Universal Soldier is about my father Walter H. Powell. He served in World War II as the a JAG officer for the occupation of Japan. I grew up with a collection of his photographs driving through Nagasaki, Japan a few weeks after the atomic bomb was dropped. We grew up in the 1950's thinking of ourselves as warriors, cowboys and soldiers. The title refers to Buffy ST Marie song "Universal Soldier."
