With Lilly's Too I am working with the patterns that are created by duplicating sections of the original image of a lily and of some other blooms and then combining them. These elements playfully go back and forth between the beauty of nature and and the beauty of formal composition. The subtle changes in the pattern are defined by the digital structure of the image and the image clarity is remarkable making the painting as interesting when viewed closely or from a distance.
