Crow is based on a photo of dense wood and underbrush that was then manipulated digitally to merge and create an overlay of abstract forms. I became fascinated by the play back and forth between the real branches, twigs and soft color of late Fall and early Winter, and the abstract forms that I developed by copying and merging with different sections of the image.
