I had the good fortune to learn a great deal about painting from a group that met weekly in Savannah, GA who engaged a live model to sit for extended sessions. This sitting occurred mid-pandemic. Aerosol refers to the invisible guest we encounter whenever we meet with others. It’s not quite yet a painting about a past era. It might also be a meditation on what we feel safe baring and what we don't.
