Freed and Scheu's work proposes a certain narrative or fantasy that emerges from a specific site. They create a threshold between what is seen and what is imagined. Freed and Scheu play between reality and its artistic portrayal, with the purpose of freezing and grasping life and nature to create a dream-like space. By combining and pushing the boundaries of their forms in order to do this, the duo uses their practice to question their artistic mediums.
