I believe my work helps people, especially children, see and learn about different environments and their inhabitants that they may not have the opportunity to see in their day-to-day lives. My residency was about having the luxury of an extended stay in the Everglades. This enabled me to explore and immerse myself in the many varied habitats letting the images come to me.
