Reality is stranger than fiction. There's so much out there to breathe in and smell, so much to learn from friends and strangers, so many jobs to work, so much that's strange and weird and wondrous. This is what I see all the time, and hope to capture in my writings. I see my role as a fiction writer to be an experiencer of life, an observer and a documenter: to take what I see and share it in my own unique way with others. A distiller of events.
