Valerie Shuff x
Valerie Shuff is a professional artist who has a love of portraiture and fine detail. She is very much a realist painter and her influences come from the more classical and traditional schools. Her portraits are generally created using life models. Most of Valerie’s work is oil on canvas with one or two favourite pieces reproduced as Giclee Prints.

Valerie Shuff was born in Arbroath in 1945. She began painting in 1990, whilst working in market research and attended classes in Hospitalfield, Arbroath. In 1995, at the age of 50, she studied at Angus College to develop her portfolio and was accepted to study at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Fine Arts and Design in 1996. She graduated in 2000 with a BA in Fine Arts (Drawing and Painting). Valerie has exhibited extensively in Galleries throughout the UK and her work is held in many private collections in the UK and abroad.
