Robert Lawrie Reid is a self-taught artist based in Kirriemuir, Angus, whose work is inspired by the natural beauty of the surrounding landscapes. Painting and drawing as a hobby, Reid has had his artwork exhibited in various galleries over the years, including Whitehills Hospital in Forfar. His art is a reflection of the ever-changing environment, where he attempts to capture fleeting moments of light, mood, and atmosphere. Reid particularly enjoys creating landscapes and seascapes in oils and pastels, often using small brushes to craft detailed and intimate oil paintings.
