Painted entirely from imagination using Watercolour (tube colours) directly onto wet paper. I have used an abstract approach to this painting to hint at the landscape rather than to depict particular details, allowing the viewer to project their own interpretation of the scene. It was painted on location in the Scottish borders in 2022.
