Painted from imagination and emotion in a loose, semi-abstract style using acrylic paint and ink. This painting was the result from my memories of a walk up to Loch Brandy and onwards towards Greenhill. Once at the top, I could look down on Loch Brandy and, looking towards the other direction, I could see across the tops of the Cairngorms. The landscape of the Angus glens always has an impact on me and I find I am moved to paint imaginary scenes from my memories of many of these places.
