International Fold-Forming Competiton - Juror's Choice Award
Hand hammering, fold forming, repousse, aluminum armature riveted to copper forms, made in segments. Commissioned by City of Eugene - Architect Jack Berry
The rich copper hues enhance earth-toned masonry walls and add to the character of the traditional Craftsman design. A 6’ diameter stylized Maltese cross represents the International Firefighters' symbol and the 24’ long frieze represents the play of fire and water.
