Hidden history resurfaces amid social unrest
The number of the stars on the blue background times 100 equals the number of recorded lynching’s in America to date, counted as accurately as possible. Created during the pandemic when masks were required. COVID sign, wear a mask, echoes KKK's propensity to hide themselves. Stars weep and bleed as they progress down the canvas.
