Shikeith, born 1989 in Philadelphia, PA as Shikeith Cathey, is a visual artist and filmmaker currently based in Pittsburgh. His work investigates the experiences of black men, and he is interested in reimagining or re-presenting black masculinity. He earned a BA in Integrative Arts from Penn State University in 2010 and an MFA in Sculpture from the Yale School of Art in 2018. He is well-known for his 2014 documentary #blackmendream.
