“Art calms the mind and soothes the soul.“

Evangeline Ang is a Singapore-based artist who has been strongly passionate for art since her schooling days. After having spent 2 decades involved in her family's business coupled with building her own career, she found the calling to embark on the artistic journey, unleashing her desire to translate her fascination for nature, light, colours and textures to creations on canvas.

Ang believes that behind every obvious there is always the inconspicuous. Small details and the big picture go hand in hand. This holds true in life and is captured in her work as she explores different mediums to create layers and textures frolicking in different colours.

Ang's artworks capture the viewer's interest from afar due to their boldness and vibrancy, sometimes featuring an optical illusion. Upon closer observation, her artworks deliver a different experience as there are a multitude of different colours hidden amongst the layers of textures.
