Artist: Daria Ivashchenko
Daria Ivashchenko is an Ukrainian artist, holding a bachelor's degree in Cultural Events Directing from Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. Furthering her artistic journey, she pursued Contemporary Art at Kyiv Academy of Media Arts.
Daria's artworks mainly portray natural themes, from the terrestrial flora to the mysterious depths of aquatic fauna. Her artistic vision goes beyond the observable world, delving into the realms of the deep subconscious and identity. She specialises in painting realism, a mode of expression through which she meticulously captures the vibrant interplay of colours and shapes; marked by a distinctive use of metal leaves. These metallic elements serve as a symbolic representation of variability and impermanence, echoing the ever-changing nature of life itself.
Daria’s artworks found a home in private collections around the globe: Ukraine, England, the USA, Singapore, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Thailand, Germany, and Greece. Notably, her artworks have found a place of honour in The Office of the President of Ukraine, adorning the space with their evocative beauty.
