Cynthia Cheng Ip-Ip is a Hong Kong based artist specialising in digital illustration, needle pen, watercolour, and acrylic painting. Her art explores society, relationships, and the behaviour of the human mind, as she believes that thinking and experimenting in artistic creation is a way of understanding and breaking through herself. Cheng is a recent graduate of the Hong Kong Baptist University, School of Visual Arts (BA Hons).

Cheng’s work depicts contradicting emotions in an exuberant and lighthearted way, by taking viewers into a different universe - a roller coaster ride of emotions, yet orderly as it deals with one of the dilemmas we all face growing up: wanting to be an adult when you are still a child; and wanting to go back to being a child when you are an adult.
