I created this piece by experimenting with clay and stacking shapes to form a sort of pattern and refine how I wanted to approach this design. I brainstormed some tire designs then using the inspiration of the bottom of bottles with a continuation between the cylinders, creating this hourglass shape that would spin and have a glow from beneath it.
