This painting was created in celebration of the R&B group, New Edition. Because I am a Bostonian like the band, I felt that I had a sense of pride in their legacy, which made me want to celebrate their contribution to music and culture by creating this piece in my style.
The inspiration behind this painting is the love and respect I have for where I come from and my appreciation of Black musicians around the world.
