Pitcher, 11 inches tall. Green transfer. Maker is Stonier, Hollinshead & Oliver. This pattern consists of various, unconnected botanical images. One side of the pitcher features a stem with large begonia leaves and a stem of acorns with an oak leaf above. The other side of the pitcher features a thorny stem of blackberries with a bee below and a butterfly above. The handle has a single, furled oak leaf placed at the top.

In 1875 Hollinshead & Stonier, at that time of the Ranelagh Works, were joined in partnership by Mr. Holmes and removed to the Upper Hanley Works, where they carried on the business under the style of Holmes, Stonier and Hollinshead until 1882. Then it was changed to Stonier, Hollinshead and Oliver. They produced earthenware and white granite for the home, American, Cape, and Australian markets.
