Vase, 6 inches tall. Brown transfer with polychrome clobbering. Unknown maker. This pattern consists of a wide, irregularly-shaped band stretching around the body of the vase and punctuated on two sides by a circular medallion filled with a large, stylized flowerhead. The band is filled with small circles and is overlaid by large, stylized flowers and foliage. Behind and above and below the decorative band, are blooming wildflowers and leaves. The narrow border around the rim consists of repeated flowerheads.
