Pitcher, 5.75 inches tall (14.6cm). Red transfer. Printed maker's mark for T. G. & F. Booth. This simple pattern consists of large sprays of simplified flowers on both sides. On either side of the outer rim and at four equidistant points around the inner rim, are small sprigs of additional flowers.
The Church Bank Works, Tunstall, passed into the hands of T. Booth & Son in 1870, having been previously established at the Knowles Works (1864) under the style of Evans & Booth. In 1868 the style was changed to Thos. Booth & Co., and in 1872 to T. G. & F. Booth.
