Pitcher, 7 inches tall. Blue transfer. Printed maker's mark for Thomas Furnival & Sons. This pattern features three cartouches laid over a large spray of daisy-like flowers that curve around the body of the pitcher. The small circular cartouche depicts a crane with its head bent downwards within a large solid border. The larger circular cartouche contains three concentric circles of geometric designs and is laid over the third cartouche, a half-rectangle containing two cranes, one forward-facing and the other side-facing. The handle and one side of the inside rim are printed with the same flowers and foliage seen on the body.
