The "driftwood" is a series of benches and chairs that are heavily textured and weathered. This piece is meant to evoke a sense that time, sun and wind have all acted to sculpt it into an artwork that is part natural object and part functional. Various techniques were used to create this effect such as sand blasting and bleaching. This piece is also made with the stack lamination technique.
