Using a limited palette of just 3 colours to create this portrait....cadmium red , yellow ochre and ivory black (plus titanium white). Always wanted to try this "Zorn palette", and I was quite amazed by the range of colour and basic flesh tones that can be obtained which also tends to give colour harmony to the work.
