"Chloe"

The magic of falling snow and winter walks are things I enjoy very much.
Chloe is bundled up for cold weather and covering everything except her eyes which helps the viewer focus on the colour and expressive beauty of this young girl. A portrait's focal point is usually the eyes and my hope is to show life, adventure and beauty through my subjects.
Pastel is a wonderful rich medium. This original was painted on Wallis sanded paper which enabled me to apply many layers.
