Untitled Assemblage #S 3-23

This is a part of the second series of works by John Wolfe entitled, "A Place Behind the Sun", constructed of steel, wood and ceramic. These pieces are all vertical and color has been introduced. The common link between the pieces is the wooden shapes that were throw-aways from a wood turner. There was a conscious effort to minimize components saying more with less. The reduction of the elements will hopefully reveal the true essence of the form.
