Unknown Steps 10

This is the tenth piece in the Unknown Steps series where I concentrated on creating compositions constructed
off of an obtuse angle. In this piece, that focus is the line starting in the lower right corner that reaches up and left
to the apex of the white triangle along the left of the piece and then up and left again to the intersection of the
white, aqua and orange fields. The other lines were then arranged as an extension of that core structure. The
piece is a large iteration of a similar design first created for the seventh piece in the series. The dark blue field is
composed of multiple layers of deep hues over a white field. The aqua and magenta fields were created by
floating pigments in a heavy fluid medium. These were applied by a brush in the case of the magenta field and by
brush and silicone blade for the aqua field.
