Linda Tuma Robertson is an American painter from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, born in 1952. Robertson’s love for art began at a very young age and has progressed throughout her life. When Robertson was 9 she began working with prominent oil painter John Shelby Metcalf, and started to develop her artistic style. By age 20 her work had been displayed in a number of settings, such as the Oklahoma City Museum of Art and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C, among others. After raising two kids she resumed her painting and has achieved many accomplishments. For instance, Robertson was commissioned by the Oklahoma State Senate Historical Preservation to create a painting for the Oklahoma Capitol and has also had her paintings selected for multiple Top 100 Arts for the Parks and Oil Painters of America national shows. Robertson's art reflects the beauty of nature and evokes a sense admiration for our Earth's various landscapes.
