Life Study of David "Honeyboy" Edwards

Unique 3D printed sculpture from the Blues Portrait Series, hand signed by the artist. a work of contemporary academic realism in portraiture, painted with an acrylic metallic finish over earth tone and color finishes. This portrait was originally sculpted in wax during live performances at the Indiana Blues Society in Indianapolis, Border's Bookstore in Indianapolis, The Chicago Blues Festival and the B.B. King Blues Club in New York City by Daniel Edwards. Honeyboy is famously the last person to see legendary bluesman Robert Johnson alive. The wax portrait was scanned by the process of photogrammetry, utilizing traditional methods with current technological trends in sculpture. This work, in a different iteration, was previously exhibited at The Delta Cultural Center in Helena, AR, The Lyme Academy College of Fine Art, Quinebaug Valley Community College and California State University.
