This series of quill ink drawings depicts the poetic beauty of a forest in winter with its bare trees displaying their intimate entanglement of branches. Several of these drawings were created as plein air, or in the open air. The "Dance of Winter" introduces elements of intimate self-reflection, which describe the spirituality I find in Nature. This drawing is part of a series of drawings created as observations of woodland trails in New England, Texas and Oklahoma.
