Although this work is the size of a study for a larger painting, it is a stand-alone intimate work referencing the awe and wonderment I experience through cloud-filled days and nights. It is not based on photographic reference, rather it is an emotive cloudscape and an optical carrier of impermanence and flux.
The title comments on my painting being an escape from my computer work for clients where I have produced websites, logos and branding since 1995.
