The Annual Regional Juried Exhibition is a juried show featuring the best of representational painting by New England artists who work in the realist tradition.

The exhibition will be on view in the historic President's Gallery at the Guild's 162 Newbury Street location from August 31 - September 28, 2019. The entire gallery has been renovated and features new furniture, carpets, and LED lighting. The President's Gallery also features a skylight to allow viewing of paintings in natural light. Selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit where the great artists of the Boston School showed their work.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

- Artists must complete and return the entry form by July 25, 2019.
- Work must be representational, with a strong academic background.

Accepted media are oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel, graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, and pencil. Please check if using any other medium. Prints, including giclees, are not eligible. Using a print as an underpainting is also prohibited. The Guild has a preference for work done from life rather than photographs. Although works done from photography are not excluded, preference is given to work done from life, especially when the jurors are making the awards.

The submission fee is a flat fee of $50.00 for non-members. The fee is one amount whether one, two, or three images are submitted.
