Terri Maxfield Lipp: painter, photographer, digital artist, writer ~ "an artist of many hues"

Terri Maxfield Lipp (also known simply as TMLipp) attended Northern Illinois University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a BA in art history, with minor studies in fine arts and anthropology. She spent the following decade in Tuscany painting, as well as writing a monthly column for the Chicago based magazine, "Fra Noi." Her next move was to Washington, DC, where she founded her studio "TML Arts," where her monthly, open-house soirées became the "must-attend" event of the city. (Note: that last part may be a slight exaggeration...)

She currently lives in Rome, Italy. Aside just enjoying the heck out of life and all that the Eternal City has to offer, she spends her time exploring painting, photography, digital art, and other forms of art she just makes up along the way.

On her website (TMLarts.com, link above), she publishes "The Artist Birthday Series," an art history blog, featuring her digital collage portraits of various artists she finds interesting or inspirational, posted on the anniversary of their birth. Also at TMLarts.com, she is the author of "The Magic Word," a blog that she refers to as her "online diary," sharing the stories behind her artwork as well as other thoughts that pass through her mind.

Overall, she is content.
