This is an Encaustic Work completed at the Humpty Doo Studio by the Artist in 2016.

Cosmic Web and Dark Energy.

In physical cosmology and astronomy, dark energy is an unknown form of energy which is hypothesized to permeate all of space, tending to accelerate the expansion of the universe.

The artist is attempting to portray a sense movement of the energy in space within this work.

The Space Waste series is Encaustic emulating the waste in space that is happening more and more, it is not going to dissipate unless the Waste hits an atmosphere somewhere.
The Space Waste works are works in progress, ongoing series created with the intention of showing what is out there in space from the artist point of view. The perspective is taken as if observed from a satellite Telescope like the Hubble or The James Webb Space Telescope. In the works the artist has imbedded molten matter from burnt-out automobiles found abandoned along the road side.
