Carol MacConnell creates diverse oil & acrylic paintings in an array of vivid colors and compositions. Her paintings draw the viewer though various emotions from playful and enchanting to serene and peaceful.
Carol is a native of Cincinnati, OH. She received a Bachelor of Fine Art from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and has continued her study of painting with internationally known artists, Quang Ho, Zhaoming Wu, Carolyn Anderson and C.W. Mundy. Her work has received numerous awards and is part of private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Europe.
Carol has worked for many years in Cincinnati with the Taft Museum of Art’s program, Artists Reaching Classrooms. She speaks to high school students to inspire the next generation of artists. She has donated thousands of dollars of artwork to local and national charities for the community.
