Artist: Stanley Anderson (British, 1884-1966)
British engraver, etcher, and watercolor painter. Stanley held an apprenticeship under a heraldic engraver. He studied at the Royal College of Art and Goldsmith's College, but claimed to be mostly self-taught. He was a member of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers. He is known for etching and engravings of rural crafts, disliking modern art, and working with watercolours which he began after developing neuritis.
